UAE stock markets close Thursday with varied note

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 8.96 points (0.22%) on Thursday, closing at 4,005.32 points. Meanwhile, a total of 54.45 million shares were traded at a turnover of AED 154.31 million.

Shuaa Capital was the top faller with 3.22%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan headed the risers with 6.79%.

Emaar Properties acquired the biggest trading volume and value with 6.23 million shares and AED 48.05 million, respectively.

On the other hand, the main index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.12% at 9,494.02 points.

The turnover stood at AED 5.55 billion after 181.82 million shares were traded, while the market cap value hit AED 2.92 trillion.

Gulf Medical Projects (GMPC) advanced the risers with 8.43%, whereas Gulf Cement Company led the fallers with 8%.

Telecom operator e& recorded the highest turnover of AED 225.09 million and Multiply Group was the most active stock with 15.23 million shares.
